    This full-time internship offers a structured, supervised experiential learning program designed to equip recent accounting graduates with hands-on corporate, factory, and production accounting competencies.

    Purpose of the Internship

    Reporting directly to the Production Accountant, the Finance Intern will work within the factory environment, gaining practical exposure to manufacturing cost accounting, inventory tracking, financial controls, and business performance analysis.

    Key Responsibilities & Learning Areas

    During the internship program, the successful candidate will assist the factory finance team with daily operations, including:

    • Production Accounting Support: Assisting in monitoring production costs, variance analyses, and operational expenditure tracking within the factory.
  • Financial Control & Reporting: Supporting month-end financial closing activities, reconciliations, and routine ledger checks.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Utilizing spreadsheet tools (Microsoft Excel) to compile financial performance reports and operational metrics.
  • Inventory & Material Tracking: Assisting in stock count verifications, raw material accounting, and waste loss reporting.
  • Minimum Requirements

    Applicants must satisfy the following academic and technical criteria to qualify:

    • Qualification: Completed BCom Degree or BCom Honours in Financial Accounting or related field (must have completed Accounting 1 and Accounting 2 as a minimum).
  • Required Documents: Candidates must upload their Matric Certificate and Academic Transcripts along with their CV.
  • Computer Literacy: Practical skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Work arrangement: Factory-based role in Boksburg requiring 100% full-time, on-site attendance. Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.
