Requirements

A completed high school diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field.

Demonstrable interest in the automotive industry and eagerness to learn.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and customers effectively.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure quality service.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or knowledge related to automotive repairs, whether through formal education or personal projects.

About the Role

As an Apprentice at VW Fourways, you will embark on an essential journey in the automotive industry, focusing on vehicle maintenance, repair, and customer service. This role is designed for individuals looking to begin their career in automotive service by gaining hands-on experience and technical knowledge in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior technicians with routine maintenance and repair of vehicles, ensuring quality workmanship.

- Participate in training programs to develop skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting automotive issues.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.

- Interact with customers to understand their needs and communicate service recommendations accurately.

- Help with the ordering and management of parts and inventory for efficient service delivery.

- Contribute to team initiatives aimed at improving workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Document service activities clearly and accurately in the workshop management system.

- Gain familiarity with the latest automotive technologies and diagnostic tools.
